2016 Viking Night Brochure and Reservation Form

The Annual Key Bank / Viking Night Dinner and Auction is held each fall to raise funds for Western Washington University athletics scholarships and program support, enabling quality student-athletes an opportunity to achieve success in the classroom and in intercollegiate competition. Scholarship assistance is essential in recruiting top student athletes to WWU.

Over Viking Night's 26-year history, funds raised from the event have provided student-athletes the opportunity to achieve their dreams, both academically and athletically. Participation allows Western to continue to recruit the future stars of Viking Athletics.

On Thursday, September 8, 2016, the Western Washington University Department of Athletics holds its 27th annual KeyBank Viking Night Dinner & Auction to raise scholarship funds and program support for Western student-athletes. As in the past, this year’s event offers a great dinner, first-class entertainment, and the excitement of both live and silent auctions. Scholarship assistance is essential in recruiting top student-athletes. Over Viking Night’s history, funds raised from the event have provided many student-athletes the opportunity to achieve their dreams, both academically and athletically. Your participation in this year’s event will allow Western to recruit future Viking student-athletes.

Viking Night offers a hosted social hour, dinner, and the excitement of both a silent and live auction.

Local businesses have been very generous in providing items for the auction.

Please do not hesitate to contact Viking Athletics for more information (360) 650-3109.

Activities get underway at 5 p.m., with a hosted cocktail party and a five-part silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The evening moves into full swing after dinner with a live auction.

Individual admission may be purchased for $75/person. Tables are $600 for a table of eight and $750 for table of ten. We encourage all guests to bring friends who have never attended Viking Night. The evening will be sure to impress even the most experienced of event-goers.

Handling the auctioneering duties will be Seattle’s own John Curley. John’s dynamic non-stop energy captivates the audience. It’s a venue for a natural showman, and Curley’s 20 years of live theatre, TV, and radio experience puts him in a class all by himself.

Make a difference in the life of a student-athlete!
You and your business have the opportunity to have a scholarship in your name. The cost is $3,100 and includes an annual named scholarship (i.e. Lindsley scholarship), a table of eight seats at the event and an invitation to the annual scholarship event.

Don’t miss the opportunity to talk with Western’s coaches, players and staff, enjoy a great evening of entertainment and purchase some auction items along the way.
