How to Contact a Coach
Here you will find a list of all department coaches and how to best contact them (either by mail or
by filling out an on-line questionnaire). Please note that, per NCAA rules, we can only
respond to e-mails from seniors and juniors (after September 1) in high school
and we will mail responses to freshmen and sophomores within NCAA rules only.
You can call any Western coach, but we cannot return your phone calls unless you

Applying for Admission
All prospective student-athletes are required to complete an Undergraduate
Admissions application and go through the regular admissions process. Most
recruited student-athletes receive an admissions application through the
Western coaches, but applications are also available from the
Undergraduate
Admissions Office. You can request an admissions application by phone or
email, or complete your application on-line. (If you are planning on signing
a National Letter of Intent during the November or February signing periods,
it is not recommended that you apply on-line.)
If you are interested in becoming a Western student we strongly encourage
you to browse the Undergraduate Admissions web site. You will learn more about the
admissions process, recommended courses of study, and how applications are
evaluated.
Test Scores
All students are required to present an
SAT I or
ACT score as part of
their admissions application. If you are planning to sign a November Letter
of Intent we strongly recommend that you begin testing during your junior
year of high school.
