Three-time NAIA All-American, placing fourth at national meet in heptathlon in 1996, fifth in 400 hurdles in 1994 and seventh as member of 4x100 relay in 1996 ... Three-time NAIA National Scholar-Athlete ... Still holds school outdoor records for 400 meters (55.69) and 400 hurdles (1:00.36), both set in 1994 ... Also held marks in heptathlon (4,641, 1996) and 4x100 relay (48.3) ... Named to Dean's List at Western nine times ... Three-year letter winner ... Also competed one year at Washington State University, participating in 200 and 4x100 at PAC-10 Championships as redshirt freshman ... 1989 graduate of Sehome High School in Bellingham ...
