The Vikings' Bennett Grimes (Jr., Pocatello, ID/Century) was a provisional qualifier in capturing the men's mile with a school-record clocking of 4:13.18. Teammate Anthony Tomsich (Jr., Fairbanks/West Valley) came within .33 of a second of the provisional standard, placing second in 4:13.63.
