WWU's Alex Donigian named Red Lion/GNAC Athlete of the Week

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University's Alex Donigian has been named the Red Lion/Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track-and-Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 6-12. Donigian, a sophomore from Mission Viejo, Calif. (graduate of Trabucohils High School), set a school record in winning the 60 meters in a NCAA Division II provisional national qualifying time of 6.89 seconds at the University of Washington Indoor. His clocking equaled the second fastest in GNAC history. Donigian is a transfer from Northern Colorado where he competed in indoor track. He also attended Saddleback JC. |
