Reichert and Catelli are Red Lion/GNAC Female and Male Field Athletes of the Week

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University's Katie Reichert and Frank Catelli have been named Red Lion/Great Northwest Athletic Conference Track and Field Female and Male Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for March 16-22.

Reichert, a sophomore from Longview (graduate of Kelso High School), automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in the javelin, winning the event at the Oregon Preview meet with the nation's top throw this season and the third-best in GNAC history of 162-1.

Catelli, a sophomore from Sequim, had a pair of provisional national qualifying and GNAC all-time top 10 performances at Eugene. He won the shot put with a mark of 57-2 1/4 and finished fourth in the discus with a mark of 165-4. His shot mark ranks second in conference history and the discus mark is eighth.
