In second year as volunteer assistant in cross country and track & field … Helped guide women’s cross country team to 12th place and men’s cross country team to 13th place at 2014 NCAA Division II National Championships … Coaching responsibilities include recruiting distance runners, race strategy, assisting in workouts and daily communication with current athletes … Graduated from WWU in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in kinesiology and psychology … Team captain for Vikings in cross country in 2013 and 2014 and track in 2012, 2013, and 2014 … Three-time national participant in cross country (2012, 2013, 2014), helping WWU place 10th in 2012 … Scoring member on Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship track teams in 2010, 2013 and 2014 … All-conference in cross country and track in 2014 … West Region all-star in outdoor track in 2012 and indoor track in 2014 … Personal bests include 25:07 xc 8k, 31:57 xc 10k, 4:02 1500, 8:41 3k, 14:52.7 4k and 31:29 10k … Graduate of Camas High School … 24 years old.
