Replay of WWU's dramatic victory to air Saturday and Monday

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Those wishing to view a replay of Thursday's dramatic 86-85 win by the Western Washington University men's basketball team over arch-rival Central Washington will have two opportunities.

ROOT Sports (Comcast Channel 30) will air the game Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2 a.m. and again Monday, Jan. 14 at 4 p.m.

Forward Paul Jones (Sr., Kent/Kent-Meridian) scored on a layup with 2.2 seconds left, lifting the nationally ranked Vikings to the one-point victory at Sam Carver Gymnasium before a sellout crowd of 2,320.

Defending NCAA Division II national champion WWU, ranked No.5 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll, stayed unbeaten at 13-0 overall and 4-0 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action, moving into sole possession of first place in the conference. The Vikings have won a GNAC-record 19 straight games. The start and streak are both the second longest in school history.

WWU plays host to Northwest Nazarene on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
