WWU remains No.1 in second NCAA II West Region Poll

BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University again earned the top ranking in the second NCAA Division II West Region men's basketball poll released today. The defending champion Vikings, 25-1 and ranked No.3 nationally, are followed by Cal Poly Pomona, Seattle Pacific, Dixie State, Grand Canyon, Cal State San Bernardino, Chaminade, San Francisco State, Alaska Anchorage and Chico State. The poll will eventually help determine which five at-large teams join the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, Pacific West Conference and California Collegiate Athletic Association in the West Regional playoffs. The regional begins Friday, March 15 at a site to be determined. Generally the top-ranked team earns the right to host the regional. NCAA II West Region Rankings
