Stafford Dominating Seattle's Crawsover Pro-Am

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Former Western Washington University men's basketball player Taylor Stafford has been putting on a show in the 2017 Crawsover Seattle Pro-Am.

The 2016-17 GNAC Player of the Year has played in three games for the Bellingham Slam, averaging 34.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. 

In his last game vs. Team N.F.A. on Sunday, July 9, Stafford registered a triple double with 38 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He scored 22 of the 38 points in the first half to help lead the Slam to a 131-102 victory against a team that included NBA and former University of Washington center Spencer Hawes.

The Slam return to action with a pair of games this weekend, beginning with a 4:30 pm game on Saturday at Seattle Pacific's Royal Brugham Pavilion. 

Stafford played one season for the Vikings, earning First Team All-America honors in 2016-17 while averaging 22.8 points per game.

He has signed a professional contract to play overseas in Icleland.
