BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The 20th annual Western Washington University Blue/White men's basketball intra-squad game takes place Sunday (3 p.m.), Oct. 21, at Sam Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus. Admission is free.

Tony Dominguez, who is in his first season as head coach following 17 years as a Viking assistant, will split his squad with the teams being coached by assistants Greg Meier and Rob Visser.

The Vikings return three starters from last year's NCAA Division II national championship team. They are 6-0 senior guard John Allen (Brier/Mountlake Terrace), 6-9 senior center Chris Mitchell (Everson/Nooksack Valley) and 6-3 junior guard Richard Woodworth (Bellevue/Newport), who is the defending slam-dunk champion.

Two key reserves back from that 31-5 squad are 6-0 senior guard Rico Wilkins (Dallas, TX/DeSoto/Yakima Valley CC) and 6-4 senior forward Paul Jones.

Heading an outstanding recruiting class are two transfers - 6-8 junior center Austin Bragg (Longview/Mark Morris) from Clark CC and 6-7 sophomore forward Anye Turner (Tumwater/Black Hills) from South Puget Sound CC.

Following the Blue/White contest, the Vikings are treated to dinner at the home of WWU Team Orthopedic Physician and long-time fan Dr. Michael Thorpe with the winners serving the losers.
