BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University men's basketball point guard Morris Anderson (Sr., Federal Way) successfully defended his Slam-Dunk title with a perfect score of 200 to highlight the 23rd annual Viking Jam on Thursday on Haggen Court at Sam Carver Gymnasium.

Anderson, who received honorable mention recognition on The Sporting News 2009-10 Preseason NCAA Division II All-America Team, scored a maximum of 50 points on each of his four dunks to out-distance four teammates. Placing second was forward Derrick Webb (Sr., Port Orchard/South Kitsap), who sat out last season with a fractured wrist.

The Viking women's squad won the three-point shooting contest, defeating the men's team, 54-43. Leading the women was guard Kristin Schramm (So., Chelan), who redshirted last year. She made 14 3-pointers during her 30-second shooting segment and freshman Corinn Tripp (Tigard, OR) knocked down 11.

Forward Jessica Summers (Sr., Blaine) dominated the women's scrimmage with 10 points in the eight-minute session, and Anderson was outstanding during the men's scrimmage.

The Western men have their 17th annual Blue-White Intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday (3 p.m.), and the Viking women host Trinity Western University in an exhibition game Monday (7 p.m.).
