SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA D-League announced Tuesday that the team has acquired guard John Allen.

Allen attended training camp with the Santa Cruz Warriors after being acquired in a trade with the Texas Legends. He was selected by Texas in the fourth round (56th overall) of the 2013 NBA Development League Draft.

The 6-1, 190-pound guard averaged 15.4 points and 3.6 assists in three seasons (96 games) at Western Washington University. He was named first-team Division II Bulletin and Basketball Times All-American and third-team Daktronics All-American after averaging a team-leading 17.1 points and 4.1 assists in 2012-13.
