BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University's Thomas Jun has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week for March 29-Apr. 4.

Jun, a sophomore from Federal Way (graduate of Todd Beamer High School), shot 6-under par 210 to place 11th in the Grand Canyon University Thunderbird Invitational.

Jun posted rounds of 71, 68 and 71. The 4-under 68 was the lowest round of his collegiate career. Five times previously he had shot rounds of 69.

Jun is currently averaging 74.2 strokes per round and ranks second among GNAC leaders behind teammate Jake Koppenberg, who is averaging 71.2.
