COEUR D'ALENE, Id. - Holding a four-shot lead heading into the final round, Western Washington University is looking to go seven-for-seven in team titles at the seventh annual Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship being held at the 6,803-yard Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.

Tuesday's final round begins at 8 a.m.

The Vikings posted rounds of 296 and 290 for a 36-hole total of 586.

Northwest Nazarene is second at 590 (290-300), followed by Saint Martin's at 592 (297-295), Simon Fraser at 598 (305-293) and Montana State Billings at 605 (309-296).

WWU's Kyle Schrader (Jr., Olympia/Tumwater) is the medalist leader at 2-under par 140, leading after both rounds with scores of 71 and 69. Simon Fraser's Kevin Vigna is second at 142 (75-67), with the Vikings' Chris Hatch (Fr., Mukilteo/Kamiak) third at 144 (76-68).

Vigna shot the day's low round of 4-under 67.

"It wasn't the best day of golf for Western, but Schrader played extremely solid throughout the day and Hatch shot 3-under in the afternoon round," said WWU coach Luke Bennett. "The two of them carried the team."
