Weishaar is first-team pick, Rogers third team among NSCAA West Region All-Stars

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University forward Andrew Weishaar (Sr., Puyallup) was a first-team pick and goalkeeper Keegan Rogers (Jr., Portland, OR/Portland Christian) a third-team selection on the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/NCAA Division II West Region Men's Soccer All-Star Team.

Weishaar led the Vikings with 10 goals and finished second among Great Northwest Athletic Conference leaders in goals per game (0.56) and points per game (1.28). He tied for the GNAC lead in game-winning goals with five.

Weishaar ended his four-year career fifth among WWU leaders in goals with 26, sixth in points with 63 and tied for 14th in assists with 11.

Rogers set a school record with a 0.67 goals against average and his seven shutouts tied for the second-highest total in WWU history. He ranked 13th nationally and led the GNAC in both goals against average and save percentage (.848).

Rogers' career goals against average of 1.13 is first among WWU leaders and his 12 shutouts is tied for third.

WWU posted the fourth-best record in school history at 11-4-3, winning six of its last seven games, and placed third in the GNAC, tying for its best finish since 2010, at 9-2-3. The Vikings defeated national semifinalist Simon Fraser, 3-0, in their season finale.
