BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Finalists named for Whatcom's Professional Woman of the Year

Whatcom Women in Business recently announced the 30th annual Professional Woman of the Year finalists.The finalists are Elizabeth Boyle, owner of Decorating Your Life; Linda Crawford, program director for Bellingham Technical College; Wendy DeFreest, owner of Avenue Bread and Deli; Carmen Dolfo, women's basketball coach at Western Washington University; Lisa Holleman, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Peoples Bank; and Lisa Karlberg, owner of Bellingham Alive magazine.

The award winner will be announced at the 30th Annual Awards Dinner and Auction. The event starts with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club. For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit wwib.org.
