Jackson's Feeney signs with Western

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University women's basketball coach Carmen Dolfo announced today that Erin Feeney, a senior guard at Jackson High School in Everett, has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Vikings. The 5-foot-8 guard, who is the team captain as a senior, was a first-team all-Western Conference South Division choice as a junior. That season she helped the Timberwolves to a third straight Class 4A state tournament appearance and third consecutive Wesco South Division title, averaging a team-leading 20.8 points. Feeney, who was a Seattle Star Times pick as a junior, hit five 3-pointers in a game as a sophomore against Edmonds-Woodway. While playing sports at Jackson, Feeney attends Chrysalis High School in Woodinville.
