BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Western Washington University Varsity Women's Rowing Team, which has won seven NCAA Division II national championships, ia looking for highly motivated student-athletes to join the 2012-13 squad.

Did you know that 90 percent of our team members have had no experience in rowing before they joined? Athletes from all sports can excel in rowing, especially those who have participated in endurance sports like soccer, track, cross country and swimming. But even if you just like to work out and train hard, we want you to consider trying out for WWU Women's Rowing.

As a rower at Western, you will have access to:

Scholarship! At least 1 quarter of paid tuition {$2600+} in the spring. Many get Winter and Spring paid for. Over a four year career, that amounts to over $10,000 towards your education

Professional Rowing coaches

Full-time, certified training staff

Women's Varsity Locker Room facilities

A Varsity-Athlete Fitness Center

Free travel to all events and competition

Priority Registration for classes Winter and Spring quarters

If being outdoors rowing on a pristine lake alongside other hardworking, physically fit students appeals to you, contact me to learn more about rowing and our tryout schedule. You will glad you did!

Best Regards,
