In 12th year as head women's golf coach at WWU ... Four-Time GNAC Coach of the Year (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015) ... Led WWU to the GNAC Tournament Championships title in five consecutive seasons from 2011-2015 (2nd place in 2016) ... Coached the GNAC scoring average leader each season since 2011 ... Guided Vikings to the NCAA West Regional in 8 of 11 seasons ... Vikings placed 5th at NCAA Division II National Championships in 2006, 6th place in 2008 and 11th place in 2011 ... Assistant in 2005, the Vikings tying for first place at NCAA II West Regional and finishing 5th at national tournament ... Assistant men's golf coach in 2003 and 2004, Western placing 11th and ninth, respectively, at nationals ... Spent nine years as golf professional at Homestead Golf Course (Lynden) after two years as assistant professional at Bellingham Golf and Country Club ... Four-year letter for Vikings ... As junior, fired 7-under-par 64 to set school and regional record in first round of NCAA II West Regional ... That same season, tied BG&CC course record with 8-under 64 ... District 8 all-star as sophomore, helping Vikings tie for sixth at nationals, the school's best finish ... Earned bachelor's degree in business administration at Western in 2003 ... 1998 graduate of Lynden High School ... Placed second at Class 3A state championship in 1998 and sixth at Class 2A state tournament in 1997, helping Lions finish fourth and second, respectively, in team standings ... He and wife Kim, who played basketball at Western, have two daughters, Rian and Izzie.
