BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University sophomore golfer Jenn Paul has been named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-West Region team.
Paul (Bellingham, WA) was the Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-Player of the Year for the second consecutive season after posting a conference-leading scoring average of 75.47. She recorded seven top 10 finishes and was the individual medalist at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout hosted by Cal State East Bay.
She is the first Viking player to earn West Region All-Star status since Sophie Elstrott in 2011.
The four All-Region teams (Central, South, East, West) consist of the top 10 players in each region and are selected by the WGCA Division II Awards Committee, with the winner of each regional tournament receiving an automatic selection.
