Enters her seventh season as the head coach of the WWU program ... compiled a 162-128 (.559) record at the helm of the Vikings ... WWU went 26-21 overall in 2016 and 15-13 in GNAC play ... team played in the GNAC title game in 2015 after finishing 2nd in the regular season with a 30-18 overall record (17-7 in GNAC play) ... named 2011 GNAC Coach of the Year, directing Vikings to 36-16 record, win total being school best, second place in GNAC and No.5 seed at NCAA Division II West Regional, school’s first post-season appearance in four years … WWU began that season with 12-game win streak and ranked No.6 nationally and No.1 regionally during regular season, both school bests … Interim head coach at NCAA I Texas Tech University in 2009 after three years as assistant for Red Raiders.

Attended University of Washington (maiden name Hanson), being catcher for nationally ranked Huskies … Team captain as junior and senior, team co-MVP as junior, Golden Glove award winner as senior and Most Improved as freshman … Helped Washington qualify for NCAA post-season play all four years, participating in College World Series in 2000 and 2003 … Graduated from Washington in 2004 with bachelor’s degree in psychology … Co-owner of softball/baseball academy in Redmond (Wash.) for two years … Is currently working on doctorate degree in Educational Psychology with emphasis on sports psychology … Head coach at her alma mater Mount Vernon (Wash.) High School in 2010 … 1999 graduate of MVHS, being four-time Skagit Valley Herald all-Area and all-league pick for Bulldogs … She and husband Dustin, have two children, daughter Haley and Trey
