BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University first baseman Jordan Walley (So., Maple Valley/Tahoma) was a first-team selection on the Montana State University Billings Desert Stinger all-tournament softball team announced Friday.

Walley led the Vikings with a .600 batting average, having nine hits in 15 at bats. She drove in five runs and scored three. Among her hits were a home run and a double.

Walley also handled 24 fielding chances without an error.

WWU won three of five games at the tourney, which took place on Feb. 7-9.

The Vikings' next action is Sat., Feb. 22 (12 noon) when they host Northwest University.
