In seventh year as assistant at WWU … Vice President for Administrative Services at Whatcom Community College … Head volleyball coach at WCC for eight seasons, directing Orcas to four Northern Region championships … Also was junior varsity coach two years at Lynden High School, the Lions placing second at state in 2000 … Earned bachelor’s degree in communications at WWU in 1999 and completed master’s degree in business administration in 2008 … Played men’s club volleyball at WWU for three years … Transferred to WWU from Montana State Billings where he earned one letter in men’s volleyball … 1995 graduate of Lynden High School … Lettered three years in basketball, helping Lions to two trips to state tournament … 38 years old … He and wife, Gina, have three children, sons Noah 14 and Tate 12, and daughter Ava 8 … His younger brother, Drew, played on NAIA national championship volleyball team at Cal Baptist.
